The Continental Kryptotal Fr is a great front tire for aggressive trail or downhill riders. The tread design's support in corners is comparable if not better than the standard set by some of the most venerable tire models from Maxxis and Schwalbe, and testers found even the lighter trail casing to be durable in the roughest conditions. Its braking traction down loose, hard-packed, and tacky soil was similarly impressive. While we struggled to get this tire to seat quickly, once installed we had no issues with it burping or folding.
